DON'T LOOK BACK FLARE PANT
DON'T LOOK BACK FLARE PANT
Designed for the woman who loves a touch of edge and sass, these pants are perfect for embracing your inner rebel! Inspired by the 70s, they flare from the knee, giving just the right amount of kick... without venturing into bell bottom territory ;)
Made from a fine Garnet Red Cotton Pinwale Stretch Corduroy; or Navy Cotton Stretch Velveteen, they offer the perfect blend of stretch and structure, ensuring a comfortable fit that moves with you.
These high-waisted pants are fitted through the hips and thighs, featuring a flexible, wide contour waistband. They're unlined, with front patch pockets, and a hook and zip closure. Being a natural fibre, like your favourite jeans, they will stretch and relax a little with your body's heat during wear, and return to their original shape when hung up or draped over your chair.
To ensure the best fit, we recommend purchasing them in your true size. They should feel fitted at first, as they will stretch and mold to your body during wear.
The "Don't Look Back Flare Pant" is a versatile addition to any wardrobe, guaranteed to add confidence to your stride.
Notes:
- There may be a shrinkage of up to 2% in length after washing, which we have accounted for in the design.
- Bibi is wearing a size 18 with regular inseam.
- Her measurements are: Height 178cm (with a long torso and shorter legs); Bust 114cm; Waist 99cm; Hips 115cm.
- The pant inseam is measured along the inside leg seam, from the crotch to the hem.

Is Mad Nomad a plus sized brand?
We currently offer sizes ranging from 14-24 (NZ/AUS). While some may classify this range as “plus size”, we simply see them as sizes for women. I decided to start with this range because I believe these sizes are often overlooked in the market and deserve attention. In the future, I’d like Mad Nomad’s size range to expand to include sizes 6-30. However, we’re taking a slow approach to make sure we nail the perfect fit of our current range before doing so.
How do I know what my size is?
I recommend referring to our size guide (link located under the price of each product), which provides detailed measurements for each size. Please don’t rely on traditional “plus sizes”, as our range is quite different. Given the variation in sizing across brands, I encourage you to go by your own measurements. If you need personalised assistance or have any questions, let's set up a 15 min Q&A session via phone or Zoom - BOOK NOW – I’m here to help you find the perfect fit!
Are your garments sustainably made?
Yes, sustainability lies at the heart of Mad Nomad. While it’s important to understand that every fabric choice carries an environmental impact, I’m dedicated to choosing materials and production methods that minimise our footprint on the planet. As someone relatively new to the sustainability side of the fashion industry, I’m constantly learning. I am committed to staying informed about new, innovative materials and processes to continually improve our practices.
Where are your clothes manufactured?
Our sewn garments are proudly made-to-order in Canterbury, NZ, by a total superstar named Renee, and for our merino knits we have been working with Textile Creations in Auckland, NZ. You can read more about our process and sustainability efforts here.
