With its understated elegance, a hint of edginess, and the added layer of warmth it provides, the "Gonna Live My Life Vest" is a reliable friend for any occasion. Knitted from 100% Merino Wool, this versatile vest has a unique feature: a cool contrast stripe on each armhole.

Navy Blue vest: One armhole features a lavender stripe while the other is an avocado stripe.

Deep Purple vest: One armhole features a lavender stripe while the other is a tangerine stripe.

Stylish AND practical, with a double knit hem, offering both weight and structure to make sure the vest keeps its shape over time. The V-neck allows you to showcase what you're wearing underneath while drawing the eye downward and visually elongating your torso.

Bibi is wearing size Medium (18-20).
Her measurements are: Bust 112cm; Waist 99cm; Hips 115cm

FAQs (click for details)

Is Mad Nomad a plus sized brand?

We currently offer sizes ranging from 14-24 (NZ/AUS). While some may classify this range as “plus size”, we simply see them as sizes for women. I decided to start with this range because I believe these sizes are often overlooked in the market and deserve attention. In the future, I’d like Mad Nomad’s size range to expand to include sizes 6-30. However, we’re taking a slow approach to make sure we nail the perfect fit of our current range before doing so.

How do I know what my size is?

I recommend referring to our size guide (link located under the price of each product), which provides detailed measurements for each size. Please don’t rely on traditional “plus sizes”, as our range is quite different. Given the variation in sizing across brands, I encourage you to go by your own measurements. If you need personalised assistance or have any questions, let's set up a 15 min Q&A session via phone or Zoom - BOOK NOW – I’m here to help you find the perfect fit!

Are your garments sustainably made?

Yes, sustainability lies at the heart of Mad Nomad. While it’s important to understand that every fabric choice carries an environmental impact, I’m dedicated to choosing materials and production methods that minimise our footprint on the planet. As someone relatively new to the sustainability side of the fashion industry, I’m constantly learning. I am committed to staying informed about new, innovative materials and processes to continually improve our practices.

Where are your clothes manufactured?

Our sewn garments are proudly made-to-order in Canterbury, NZ, by a total superstar named Renee, and for our merino knits we have been working with Textile Creations in Auckland, NZ. You can read more about our process and sustainability efforts here

What is the process for ordering?

Where do you ship to?

We’re currently shipping within New Zealand, and to Australia. If you’re living elsewhere and keen on our collections, please let me know. I’m looking to expand our reach globally, and knowing your interest will help me make that possible.

What is your return and exchange policy?

See my vest, see my vest!

I love this vest so much. It's high quality merino, and i especially love the mismatching quirky trim. I live in the South Island, so it's hard to be styley and keep warm in winter, and this vest keeps me cosy as. Get one! you won't regret it.
