This is a Size 16 On New Ground Reversible Neckline Blouse. Keeping things light and comfy in a beautiful semi transparent black organic cotton lawn.

Loose, airy, and unlined, it's perfect for warm weather. And if you're looking for a relaxed silhouette, the bubble hem sits lightly at the hip for a softly shaped drape.

It pairs with everything from denim to bold brights. Included in the photos, I'm wearing the brown check version with the Follow My Lead Wide-Leg Pant in tangerine tencel, and a customised floral cotton print in Shades of Blue.

This ready made blouse is part of my pop-up collection and ships immediately.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

  • Two necklines: Wear the deep V in front for a lengthening line, or flip it for a clean round neck
  • Soft ruffles skim the armhole... just enough to add interest without tipping into anything too frilly
  • Textural contrast: Linen/viscose blend neckline adds a slight sheen
  • Bubble hem gives a 'styled and tucked' look with a fine concealed elastic

FIT & SIZING

This garment is a Size 16.

I photographed it on a Size 6-8 dress form, so it has been pinned in a couple of places to help you see the intended silhouette and proportions.

To help you assess fit, the measurements were taken flat on a hanger, from seam to seam. For full body circumference, double the bust and waist measurements below.

Bust (flat): 64 cm

Elasticated hem: (unstretched) 47 to (stretched) 57 cm

Length on round neck side: 62 cm

Additional images show exactly where these measurements were taken. I've also included our sizing guide, along with some images of me wearing this blouse in the same fabric. I'm wearing a size 18, and my measurements are Bust:117cm, Waist: 100cm, Hip:117cm.

Note: This is a ready to wear blouse that is part of my pop-up collection and ready to ship now. (FREE shipping within NZ and a $20 flat rate for shipping to Australia.)

If the size or length isn't quite right but the fabric is calling your name (or you have questions), please get in touch. Depending on studio stock, we may be able to create a customised version for you.

Styling ideas (click for details)

Lean into this blouse's earthy base by styling it with cream, camel, or classic denim. You can also pull out the teal or yellow in the print or add shades of red, orange, or blue for a hit of colour.

For elevated days, pair it with wide-leg pants, wear it over a slip dress, or team it with a skirt and strappy sandals. For a more relaxed vibe, throw it on with jeans and sneakers or jandals.

When temperatures dip, it layers beautifully under a blazer, or you can wear it over a fitted polo neck top.

Garment Care

Machine wash with like colours on a delicate cycle in cold water. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach.

To maintain the shape and drape of the fabric, lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out, on warm setting. If needed, mist with water to smooth out the wrinkles.
